Sevillano Neighborhood Project Remodel
This project was a full gut renovation combined with a substantial addition off the back of the house. The result is a stunning new great room and kitchen, featuring a large sliding door system that opens up the entire back of the home and creates an incredible indoor–outdoor connection.
Upstairs, we added a dedicated office space, while the original master closet was reimagined into a functional new laundry room. The rear addition also allowed us to expand the primary suite with a much larger bedroom, a walk-out balcony, a spacious new bathroom, and a generous walk-in closet.
In addition to the main house, this project also included a pool house and a walk-in wine room, adding even more functionality and character to the property. Not everything will be shown in this post — we’ll be sharing this project in a photo series over time to highlight the many details that went into it.
We also want to give a huge thank you to the homeowners. Their patience throughout the remodel and their trust in our team made this project a true joy to work on from start to finish. Collaborating with clients like this is what makes large, complex projects so rewarding. Here is the Laundry room to start!
Primary Suite Bathroom:
Designed to feel calm, clean, and timeless, every detail in this space was carefully crafted.
The walk-in shower features vertically stacked tile, a custom herringbone niche, and warm brass fixtures that add just the right amount of contrast. The custom white oak cabinetry brings warmth to the room while providing plenty of storage, paired with a natural stone countertop and simple modern hardware.
To complete the space, a freestanding soaking tub sits beneath large windows, creating a bright and relaxing spot to unwind.
Thoughtful design, quality materials, and skilled craftsmanship came together to create a space that feels like a private retreat.
Stairwell:
A view from above. This open stairwell became a central architectural feature of the home, tying both levels together with clean lines and warm natural materials. The curved guardrail, white oak handrail, and black balusters create contrast while keeping the space light and open.
The custom chandelier anchors the space and draws your eye through the circular opening, highlighting the flow of the staircase below. Simple, intentional details like this turn a pass-through area into something that defines the entire home.
Continuing our series from this project — where craftsmanship meets thoughtful design in every corner.
Office:
This office is a perfect next chapter in the series. Clean, warm, and quietly impressive.
As part of the upstairs addition, we created a dedicated office space designed for both focus and flexibility.
Warm wood cabinetry, open shelving, and integrated storage keep the room functional without feeling heavy, while large windows flood the space with natural light and frame views of the surrounding landscape. A custom built-in desk provides ample workspace, and the thoughtful layout allows the room to feel open, calm, and highly usable.
Details like the glass door, clean trim lines, and seamless material transitions tie the office into the rest of the home’s design, making it feel intentional rather than tucked away. This space is a great example of how smart planning and craftsmanship can turn a practical need into something truly special.
